Brighter days are coming…
No one could have predicted the measures which have had to be taken as a result of the Covid19 virus, and how many more changes we will have to make to our lives as the situation slowly recovers. The loss of lives and the impact on the health of many people puts so much into perspective.
Here at Aspects we are working hard to minimise the disruption for our customers as much as possible, but our primary concern is for the safety of our staff, suppliers and retail partners.
Most of us have been working from home during this time but, over the last few weeks, we have begun a phased return back to the office.
Fortunately, we have adequate stock levels and our warehouse stayed open for the duration of lock down to keep fulfilling orders. This allowed us to work behind the scenes to maintain the support for our retail partners and safeguard our brand owners' business plans, whilst focusing on new and exciting digitally led strategies.
As the retail landscape has reopened its doors, we are keeping in touch with our in-store staff regularly to ensure that they are happy and comfortable with the new safety measures in place, and we are also using this opportunity to work in different ways with new ideas and approaches. Of course, we will remain as flexible as possible to help all our staff, stores and partners, but we understand that things will certainly continue to change in the short and mid-term so we must take a longer-term view, and this remains our priority.
Keep safe, everyone – and remember – you just have to look for a gap in the clouds to see a ray of sunshine!
